This is a brief product and service specification outlining the benefits of the developed calibration kit for lab automation users and manufacturers of equipment. It also outlines the benefits and distribution or partnering programs.
Automation Trainer has developed a calibration dye kit that has every laboratory benefit from around the globe. ATLLC has developed a sales and service partnership program to include every vendor of Automated Liquid Handling equipment. Researchers may perform experiments reliable and reproducibly with the aide of the QC Calibration kit. Service staff may perform service with common standardized methods producing consistent and reproducible results. Sales may demonstrate quickly and easily reliable results to users on the "fly". Vendors may help users efficiently and cost effectively calibrate their supported equipment in the field or in house for manufacturing, and as a sales tool to gain customer confidence in the accuracies of ALH equipment.
Becoming a service partner enables a standing purchase at a wholesale price and avoidance of back logged stock.
Becoming a sales partner involves co-marketing benefits and wholesale priced kit inventory.
Helps complement the sale of equipment by inexpensively proving the accuracy of volume delivery within manufacturer specifications listed. It saves the time and cost of calibrating for the vendor service. It helps gain the trust and confidence of the community and its users. It gives vendors a reputable partner that the community all turns to for calibration and liquid handling advice and expertise. It also gives vendors the opportunity to make revenue from each referral.
This is a low cost, time saving, reliable, reproducible, repeatable, and reputable QC calibration kit. Automated Liquid Handling Users now have the option to perform an instrument calibration in little time routinely that they learned in the Liquid Handling Bootcamp in a hands-on training. Users will have the power to validate their experiments and achieve the optimal performance of their equipment on their applications with our dye kit.
Note: we should have a order item for becoming a distributor.
The calibration kit may be used by vendors to verify product performance and specified accuracy prior to delivery, to gain customer confidence during sales demonstrations, to assist service to calibrate equipment during service calls and preventative maintenance.
The calibration kit may be used for Factory Acceptance Testing and/or Site Acceptance Testing, to help users determine operational parameters, help optimize operational parameters, help maintaining top performance, and/or help maintain QA and QC compliance guidelines. The calibration kit may be used as often as needed to maintain daily operation, or as directed by manufacturer or per service PM. The kit may be followed as suggested by manufacturer protocols or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). The calibration kit may be used by service or user staff during qualification events such as IQ (Installation Qualification) or OQ (Operational Qualification) during a move, add or change of the equipment or environment
This is not a NIST traceable calibration kit and we are not in the position nor have the interest to compete in this regard at the moment. Rather we desire to have an efficient and cost effective alternative for calibration. The arrangement with partners is that Automation Trainer shall manufacture the kit around vendor's ALH equipment and shall get assistance in developing the proper robotic methods to work with vendor's ALH equipment. To become a partner you must meet the following criteria and sign up as a partner:
Vendor or manufacturer of automated liquid handling equipment.
Willing to help users to utilize proper methods for calibration.
Membership is $300 annual membership fee to join.
As a member you will enjoy direct updates and feedback from users calibrating your equipment. You will also enjoy a wholesale discount on our calibration kit to distribute or use for your own purposes.

The best way to test drive the calibration kit is to attend one of our liquid handling bootcamps. If you let us know your intention to become a partner we can discount you on your first years membership since you paid full price at the bootcamp.
You are welcome to submit to us your needs or ideas of using the calibration kit on other formats or other equipment. We are always welcome in support the use of the kit on new equipment and new users.
